Protein is an essential ingredient in sports nutrition which is a ready-made mix based on proteins and which may also contain carbohydrates, fats, and vitamins.  Protein powder is a natural food supplement derived from whey, cottage cheese. So many people think that the main purpose of protein mixes is to help gain muscle mass, they do not even seriously consider the idea that taking protein can also contribute to weight loss – proper weight loss.
